Neighborhood Watch, in conjunction with the Sheriff's Office, involves residents working
together to make their community a safer place to live.  This crime fighting organization
brings neighbors together to be more aware of their surrounds, prevent crime and report
suspicious activity.  The philosophy is simple:  residents who get involved in their
community have a "stake" in what happens.
Unlike other communities throughout our nation, the Citrus County Sheriff's Office urges
you to immediately dial
911 for any emergency or to report a nuisance or suspicious
activity
.  The 911 call goes directly into the dispatch center at the County Emergency
Operations Center and is your primary way to access police, fire or emergency medical
services.

The current Neighborhood Watch director for Cambridge Greens is John Parliman.  The
Sheriff's Office has periodic meetings for NW directors in which crime statistics and safety
information is shared.  Our NW director shares this information with the Board of Directors
at their meetings and, through this webpage, with the residents of our community.
