Welcome to Cambridge Greens POA
We are located about 70 miles North of Tampa, 70 miles South of Gainesville and 5 miles NW of Inverness Florida, the county seat of Citrus County. The Villages of Citrus Hills has been named "one of America's best master planned communities" and one of the "50 Fabulous Planned Retirement Communities For Active Adults". It offers Florida lifestyles with Florida designed homes.
Unique to much of Florida this area consists of rolling hills including some of the highest points in the state. Mixtures of hardwoods, fir, palms, cattle and horse ranches.
The Withlacoochee River and Tsala Apopka, a 13-mile chain of lakes, form the northern and eastern borders of the county and offer world-class bass fishing. The Gulf of Mexico forms the western border and offers one of the best inshore water fisheries for speckled trout, redfish and tarpon available as well as grouper off shore. An added treat is exquisite kayaking opportunities into 'Old Florida' fresh and salt-water areas and a 46-mile paved bike trail that bisects the county from Citrus Springs in the north to Dade City in Hernando County.
